Dear Friends,
When I started writing these weekly stories, I didn’t have a plan beyond sharing what I was seeing and hearing from the front seat of an Uber. Over time, those moments turned into conversations, friendships, a book, and a community of readers I’ve been grateful for.
Lately, though, I’ve felt a quiet nudge that this season is changing.
While I’ll continue to write and speak, my focus is shifting toward helping faith-based and mission-driven organizations tell their own stories—work that grows naturally out of my years with the Little Sisters of the Poor and the experiences many of you have read about here.
Because of that shift, this will be one of my final weekly Uber-based blogs. I didn’t want to simply stop without saying thank you. Your willingness to read, reflect, and occasionally respond has meant more to me than you may realize.
The stories themselves aren’t going away. They’re part of who I am and what I carry forward. I’m simply choosing to make room for what comes next.
Thank you for riding along with me. I hope you’ll stay in touch! Sometimes, I get a story I’ll just have to share!
God Bless, Merry Christmas, and a Very Happy New Year,
Tommy
